About

arts4:action is a collective of artists mentored by rosenclaire, united around the belief that art has the power to remind us of our shared humanity. Through online fundraisers, the collective is able to respond to timely and ongoing global crises and injustices. arts4action has raised over $60,000 USD in its two prior campaigns: Clean Water for Ukraine and Girls & Women in India. This is our third action.

Current Action

Join arts4action in responding to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Through our partnership with KinderUSA, every artwork sold directly supports food relief efforts that help families in dire need. arts4action is partnering with KinderUSA to address this dire situation.

KinderUSA is a US-based non-profit founded in 2001 that focuses on the health and well-being of Palestinian children. Over the past 20 years, they have developed artistic programs for youth, provided tutoring and psycho-social support for children released from detainment, helped women start small businesses, and delivered food to impoverished families. With a team on the ground, KinderUSA’s current efforts are going into emergency food relief and purchasing and delivering food inside the Gaza Strip.

All artworks are original, signed by the artist, 9”x12” or smaller, and sold for $250 USD each. All funds raised, after deducting shipping costs, will be donated to KinderUSA’s food relief efforts in Gaza.

Help arts4action raise $30,000 to feed families in Gaza.

Clean Water for Ukraine

In 2022, arts4action partnered with a broader fundraising effort led by Numi Foundation and Waves4Water that went towards the purchase of water filtration systems for the thousands of Ukrainians displaced from their homes after the Russian invasion. arts4action was able to donate over $27,000 of the $150,000 total raised. Water filtration systems were purchased and delivered, benefiting over 80,000 Ukrainians.

Girls & Women
in India

In 2023, arts4action partnered with Women’s Earth Alliance (WEA) to support girls and women at the Tonganagaon Tea Estate in Assam, India, who identified that cultural taboos and lack of access to menstrual pads were a great hindrance to female development. arts4action raised and donated over $27,000 to this cause which provided: 600 reusable pads, 12 menstrual hygiene awareness education programs, and training of 23 local trainers. The program served over 150 girls and women, with 80% satisfaction, 70% of community members now discussing menstrual hygiene openly with family and friends and 50% of men approaching the volunteers for pads for their wives, sisters and other female family members.
