About

arts4action is a collective of artists mentored by rosenclaire, united around the belief that art has the power to remind us of our shared humanity. Through online fundraisers, the collective is able to respond to timely and ongoing global crises and injustices. arts4action has raised over $75,000 USD in its three prior campaigns, this is our fourth action.

arts4:Girls & Women in India

In 2023, arts4action partnered with Women’s Earth Alliance (WEA) to support girls and women at the Tonganagaon Tea Estate in Assam, India, who identified that cultural taboos and lack of access to menstrual pads were a great hindrance to female development. arts4action raised and donated over $27,000 to this cause which provided: 600 reusable pads, 12 menstrual hygiene awareness education programs, and training of 23 local trainers. The program served over 150 girls and women, with 80% satisfaction, 70% of community members now discussing menstrual hygiene openly with family and friends and 50% of men approaching the volunteers for pads for their wives, sisters and other female family members.
