Angela Rose Voulgarelis lives and works in upstate New York. Her work investigates issues concerning women. Using the bedroom as a primary site of investigation, she draws on experiences of motherhood and childhood in relation to the often complicated dynamics of family relationships, identity, memory, and loss. Angela Rose has exhibited her work in the US and abroad, and her work is primarily held in private collections. In 2022, she was shortlisted for the Mother Art Prize, through the UK-based Procreate Project, and in 2023 was awarded an artists' fellowship at the MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire, USA.
