BIO:

Geoffrey Cunningham is an interdisciplinary artist generally working with painting, drawing, found imagery and textiles, and print making to explore the structures that underpin our political and social realities, and various personal, communal, and universal themes. Cunningham received his BA in Art with honors from the University of San Diego, and studied art at Scuola Lorenzo di Medici in Florence, Italy. He has attended numerous invitational workshops (Italy and South Africa) with Rose Shakinovsky and Claire Gavronksy. His artwork has shown in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Portland, Santa Fe, and in Germany, South Africa, Italy, and the UK, and been featured in AdBusters Magazine, NY Arts and Hyperallergic. Cunningham is co-author of the book, Office of Blame Accountability based on the collaborative project by the same name with artist Carla Repice.  He lives and works in Oceanside, California with his partner and fellow artist, Carrie Minikel, and their daughter, Vera (13).
