Angela Rose Voulgarelis (b. 1974) lives and works in Accord, New York, USA. Her work investigates issues concerning women. She draws on experiences of motherhood and childhood, painting primarily from found images that depict domestic objects, interior scenes, and interpersonal exchanges to explore identity, memory, and loss.

BIO

In 2022, Angela was shortlisted for the UK-based Procreate Project's Mother Art Prize, and was also awarded a Fellowship at the MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire; in 2024, she was awarded a Fellowship at the Yaddo Corporation in Saratoga, NY., and curated "M/Othering" at One Mile Gallery in Kingston, NY, a group show centered around the artists' experiences of motherhood. In 2025, she participated in a 3-person exhibition, The Red Thread, at 1053 Gallery in Fleishmanns, NY, as well as Fig Tree, a group exhibition at Ki Smith Gallery, in New York City.
