Gouache on paper
4.5 x 6 in
2025

These small gouache on paper paintings are part of an ongoing investigation of everyday objects and actions. Growing, gathering and preparing food is a significant ritual of every life on the planet but in faster-paced societies it is often overlooked. Slowing down to honor meals that have nourished me is part of a daily practice.
